Attend a monthly volunteer orientation to learn about our mission, available roles, safety procedures, and expectations.

If the program is a good fit, complete the required paperwork and role-specific training before beginning scheduled volunteer service.

- Arrive on time and attend the shifts you commit to.
- Communicate promptly if you need to cancel.
- Follow staff instructions, safety procedures, and animal-care protocols.
- Be willing to help with practical tasks, including cleaning.
