FCN Premium Chicken Rub

Rubs are a great way to add flavor to meat. Rubs almost always contains salt because salt amps up flavor & helps form a crust. You can rub right on the bare meat, or you can help it stick by moistening the meat with some water, mustard or olive oil. We recommend olive oil because it helps the meat from sticking to your cooking surface & because most of the herbs & spices are oil soluble, not water soluble. We start with the prefect blend of sweet, savory & spice to give you what we consider to be the ultimate chicken rub. Remember to cook your chicken low & slow, sugars will start to burn when you cook at high temperatures.

Directions: Lightly oil meat. Spread the rub generously on your chicken. You can apply it just before cooking, no need to let it marinate overnight unless desired.

Ingredients: Kosher Salt, Black Pepper, Chipotle Pepper, Brown Sugar, Ancho Chili Powder, Garlic, Onion, Paprika, Cumin.
